Masterson’s Lounge, located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my unfortunate encounter at this establishment turned into one of the worst experiences of my life . While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I discovered behind its walls was disturbing and far below any standard .
The Condition of the Premises : Grimy and Abandoned
From the moment I walked in , it was evident that sanitation was not a priority at this bar . The ground was covered in grime , and a foul smell of old alcohol and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire establishment . With a smell of a mixture of human waste, putrefaction and sickness . The bar area , which should be the focal point of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and litter that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The bathroom was in even worse condition — backed up, with a snapped lever and walls covered in what I can only assume was feces.

Many visitors have reported seeing bugs darting across the counter and evidence of rodent infestations in the basement . For a business that caters to patrons, these issues are utterly disgraceful and raise serious concerns about the quality of their offerings.

Rather than addressing the issue to curb the damage done by her husband’s actions, she looks like she supports his behavior.
